Looking for more than just childcare?

Of course we are a little biased but to help you make the right decision we've put together a checklist on what you should look for.

A warm welcome

Just pop-in, we welcome visitors at any time. Meet our teachers and ask all those nitty-gritty questions! While you're there, experience a mat time, enjoy the fantastic playgrounds and judge for yourself why our services are nothing but quality.

Passionate teaching staff

We employ qualified teachers who are truly passionate about extending your child's learning, also offering mentorship to teaching assistants who may be studying toward qualifications in early childhood education. We also employ specialist managers at our Centres who oversee the provision of quality education and care.

Stimulating environment

Our large playgrounds are all about real kiwi kids - sandpits, vegetable gardens, water, swings, huts and more. The buildings have large covered decks, modern kitchens for baking, and an abundance of exciting learning resources.

Friendships

Who doesn't want to see their child making friends they are likely to have for life! The group environment encourages sharing, manners, confidence and a real understanding for each other.

Safe

With a team of qualified teachers there is more than one set of eyes watching over your child at all times. Your child is safe in our hands.

Learning & resources

We never have a dull moment! Different activities are set up on a daily basis, ranging from numeracy and literacy through to creative arts and technology - making sure your child is well prepared to start school.

Trust

We like to think we've more than proven ourselves in quality education and care. We've been around for more than a few years now, so we know how children learn!

Our philosophy

It's all about values and what is important for your child. We are guided by Te Whaariki (Early Childhood Curriculum) and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Cost & flexibility

We operate as a Charitable Trust so all the money is used for children's learning! The choice is yours - Kindergartens Waikato offers a range of sessions from 3–9 hours. Early Education Waikato offers full day sessions.
