- Art, creativity, music and active movement
- An understanding of sustainability and their environment
- The importance of New Zealand's heritage
- Social and emotional competencies
- Self confidence, and building on dispositions for lifelong learning
- Learning skills such as independence, creativity and curiosity
- Friendships that may last throughout their schooling
- Relationships with consistent, familiar teachers
- The ability of being part of the Kindergarten kaupapa and a feeling of belonging.
Teachers provide learning experiences that prepare your child for school which include numeracy, literacy & language, Enviroschools , culture and identity, puzzles & games, creative arts, sand & water play, trips, cool 4 school, child friendships… and more!
Children work together alongside Kaiako who build on their interests and strengths, enjoying a child led environment that provides choices of learning throughout the day. We invite whaanau contributions to our programme, and promote strong relationships between home and kindergarten.
