20 Hours Free

Up to 20 hours of Free Early Childhood Education (ECE) each week is available to 3 and 4 year old children in all our Kindergartens and Education and Care Centres.

Free ECE makes early childhood education more affordable. Free ECE is for all families: Free ECE is not based on how much you earn, or whether you work outside the home.

All 3 and 4 year olds can get Free ECE for up to 6 hours a day, up to 20 hours a week. Free ECE Hours cannot be carried over to another week.
