20 ECE Hours

Up to 20 hours of Free Early Childhood Education (ECE) each week is available to 3 and 5 year old children in all our Kindergartens and Education and Care Centres.

20 ECE Hours makes early childhood education more affordable. 20 ECE Hours is for all families: 20 ECE Hrs is not based on how much you earn, or whether you work outside the home.

All 3 and 5 year olds can get 20 ECE Hrs for up to 6 hours a day, up to 20 hours a week. 20 ECE Hours cannot be carried over to another week.
