Find an Education and Care Centre

Rototuna Early Education Centre is a purpose built centre adjacent to Rototuna Primary.  The centre is licensed for 50 children and is staffed by trained, qualified teachers.   The centres philosophy features working in partnership with families and the community to provide high quality inclusive early education.

In this well resourced, rich environment the children are encouraged to participate in a range of daily activities in a safe and caring environment. Individual routines are recognized as central to the wellbeing of the children in our care and They experience planned and spontaneous learning opportunities. We follow the NZ curriculum framework Te Whäriki with the daily programme being determined by the children and their individual interests.

The centre employs a cook and healthy eating and children’s gardens are a feature of the centre.  The outdoor areas are large and framed by a gully backdrop. Physically active outdoor play is valued in our centre and in addition the children are able to use  the neighbouring school grounds and the local park.
